No special April Fool’s comic, sorry. Or you’re welcome, whichever works. I figure you guys probably got your fill of April Fool’s comics out there, and I’d rather just keep the story moving along 🙂

Robo-Doc has one red eye, and the Prototype’s eyes are both red. Mr. Mystery’s eyes are red, but he sounded too “human” to be a robot. Now that he did whatever he just did, I’m thinking something more like “cyborg” of some kind.
The Avon guy called Mium a prototype also, but Mium’s eyes are blue, so I’m still mulling things over. 🙂
I didn’t notice the beams from the orbs until several hours later. I need an “Edit” button more than most. ^^
Hmmm, I can edit my posts. Guess that’s cause I’m special… I use it all the time or else they’d be rife with spelling errors. Home team advantage I guess! Do any wordpress comments let users edit their posts? I don’t know much about the comment system, I just turned it on. I can look into it.
You definitely have some interesting theories and I love hearing the thought process. But I’d point out that unless I screwed up somewhere, the Prototype’s eyes are yellow/orange more than red; most clearly seen like here. I’d like to say all will be revealed… but hey, by than we’ll have new mysteries. 😀
As website owner, you have Moderator control over the Comments. I don’t know much about it beyond that.
My laptop screen is on the smallish side, which concentrates and darkens the colors I see. Having gone back and looked more carefully, however, oops. *Blush*
If anything its a good reminder about the different levels of detail people are reading the comic at – there are at least some mobile readers to whom everything must be rather tiny. I’ve been trying to figure out a mobile-site version, but haven’t got it working good yet.
Still, I’m not saying your theory was wrong… just a there are a few wrinkles in store yet 😀

So he just reset? Interesting. That changes my perceptions considerably.
The energy ball attack looks great, but I can’t tell if it had been one of the circles orbiting the Prototype. I think it was, but there’s room just offscreen for the missing circle to hide.
Also, that poor tree! 🙂
Haha, “reset” is a good word for it, though I worry that’d give the wrong impression about what/who he is. Though I don’t think its too big a spoiler to say that most people cannot do that. 🙂 I’m a little worried what perceptions I’ve changed. 😀
As far as the attack, I see what you mean. All 6 of the little light balls should still be up there; they basically just discharged the little red lightning effect to where he was standing, causing the blast effect. I fully understand that it’s not super clear; hopefully at least “big glowy doom -> big glowly boom” was clear as that’s the minimum graphical baseline I was going for 😀 I’ll get better at drawing magic stuff, but for now I’m just trying to make it look interesting/flashy.
