Comic for Thursday, June 16th
Alright. Well, least that’s a comic.
Sorry guys, been a busy week. Moving last weekend was a bit more hectic than I was hoping for. Some internet woes at the new house. Couple issues at work reared their ugly extra-hour consuming heads. Still trying to get the car worked on.
Comic is a bit rough, I’m aware. Make up comic is not yet in sight, and if we are being honest it may be awhile. I’m out of town this weekend at least in part, and going to be out of country first week of July; would like to buffer that week with at least one comic.
Who knows, maybe things will settle down and I’ll be able to get it all done. Maybe unicorns will prance across rainbows through my back yard. These things can happen.
ah yes lets just jump out of an airplane into an unkown situation. i mean “how hard can it be” right?
also looking at this ids armor, it kinda looks like a cheap chineese knock off of the kor’s world armor. intentional?
and i know how hard moving can be, and real life bs coming around to bite you. hope you see those rainbow danceing unicorns sometime.
I wouldn’t say cheap knock off, but it is supposed be look lighter for the most part. The IDS armor is more like armor and less like a powered armor. It is vaguely modeled after Kor World armor in all likelihood, but they simply don’t have the tech to make something like the Kor World armor they is more like an plate exosuit then armor. It’s more like composite plating combined with kevler and a few powered elements then a full real suit like the Kor’s World guy had.
I’ll leave out some prisms and unicorn food and see if I can wait the odds.
Aren’t you forgetting the original unicorn bait? ^^
As late as I am, I think I can be a little cynical without too many people getting angry for the dead reply:
Just string up a few of your readers. I mean, this is a webcomic after all. The number of virgins reading this have to be higher than those that are… deflowered. Plus, most of what I have seen indicates that there are plenty of females who read webcomics, compared to other highly unbalanced sections of the internet.
Meoi Lass
You know, at first I thought he was middle management. And I am pleasantly surprised that he’s willing to jump into the fray.
That’s what I thought about him, too.
Perhaps it was the fate of the last of the last more useless middle management officer on the Jayce pick up mission that made them assign a special agent this time around? 😉
*Sigh* Once again, we’ll live–even the um, less patient among us. Don’t worry. 🙂
Hmm. it look as if Nick Otte isn’t the only I.D.S. Special Agent with an inflated opinion of his own abilities. “Mr. I-can’t-be-beat, meet Ila F10. She’ll be your reality check for today.” ^^
That’s good; I’d feel terribly bad if I accidentally offed a reader by missing an update 🙁
Well, agents in Arron’s generation tend to be a lot more cautious. Agents of Otte’s generation tend to be more confident and reckless. It’s not a rule, of course, but there are reasons for it.
The IDS is not a military group, for the most part. They are not usually against combat equipped groups or war trained mages. Compared to run of the mill cops, special agents are fairly badass.
