Panel 6, middle bubble.

Damn he just poured Badass on the floor and it turned into a mirror. And looked cool while doing it.

These last few pages really have turned him from a moderate character into “When this guy was active, everyone knew it.”

I never would have guessed from Arron’s first appearance and his patient, almost resigned approach to life, that he was such a badass. Well played, @PastUtopia:. ^^

At first I was confusing this new guy with Kyle, and I was very confused. I think it was the hair being grey at the temples. Guess this is one of Arron’s minions from his kicking ass and taking names days, don’t think we’ve seen him?

Yeah, I’m not all that worried for Arron. The question comes down to is Arron the Kally of the last generation (badass mage), the Peter (tactical sort), or both.

  This is, indeed, not Kyle. While there is some similarity, there is distinctly less slime and weasel fur involved in Rick… if a good scope or two less brains as well.

Yeah, I think the bad guys are not going to have a fun time.

The more I learn about the Keplers, the more I’m convinced the entire family is badass by default.

  I think we are starting to get a more nauced idea of Peter though what we learn about the Kepler’s. I am going to guess his childhood was severely not normal, sort of explaining how he got quite to be the brilliant but screwed in the head protagonist we know.

      It is possible, but there are several other possibilities. Regardless of if Miko is Taki, we know that Peter has a cousin that does not seem Arron’s kid, so that means there is potentially another Kepler sibling (unless Taki is from his mother’s side). We also do not know if Peter is an only child. It seems unlikely that Arron/Kyle’s parents are still alive as Arron seems fairly old, but that is also possible.
