Yes, he did drop a business card in panel 8. What can I say, he’s prepared. Does it say “good guy” on it? 😛
The step in which he repairs her probably let allowed him to examine rather in depth what she is. I wasn’t really sure how to portray that better, so I just sort of left it implied.
I’m going to guess Mium at least had a pretty good inkling what her wake up reaction would be. He was actually present at their last encounter. He has a sniper rifles souvenir to prove it. REF is likely unaware Mium was present that time. He may want to upgrade his acting software. I wasn’t convinced of his heartbroken status. Fortunately REF seemed to have a vested interest in fixing (and therefor examining) Ila either way 😉
Of course, now we’ll see if Mium suffers a similar fate. He doesn’t seem to be much higher on her list of favorite people last we checked 🙂

Fixing Ila wasn’t as hard as I expected… Now let’s just see if there is a plan for getting her to play nice, or if they continue where they left off.

Which considering the popular desired reaction to receiving a door-to-door salesman, would make him quite effective. 😛

Though as a mage being knocked off a tall building is fairly non-fatal as long as you’re conscious. While flying is pretty hard, stopping falling is fairly easy, and he is a pretty good mage.
The salesman shtick is probably only half serious, he mostly wanted to investigate them after happening upon the spectacle of them fighting 😉
Though he may have actually thought he’d get them to sign up, he seems the hopeful sort 😛
I’m guessing that Mium was actually saying, “Fix her, and then we’ll talk”, and REF went fir it. This makes me wonder just how much deceit Mium is capable of, and whether his rather strange phrasing meant he ws trying to deceive or just be funny. O.o
He should have remembered that she didn’t find him ll that charming the last time they met, either. ^^
Mium’s word choice is indeed a little strange, and are somewhere between him skirting his rules and his apparent sense of… Mium-ness (I’m not sure I’d call it humor… 😛 )
Yes… it was a little optimistic on his side. That said, he probably didn’t expect to actually recruit them from the get go, it was just a possible perk 😉
