Haha going to guess a lot of people saw this coming considering what happened last time what happened when a fight started in one of these transit stations. Ahhhh old art 🙁 Though I’m sure a few were still holding out for Otte getting clobbered.
Arrested? How will they get to school on time now? God knows what Mium would do left on his own at Levinworth.
Whoever designed a panel with 3 hand close ups and a total of 10 total hands needs to seriously be shot. I hate hands.

It’s the problem with plot – always getting in the way of a good fight scene 😀
I swear it’s not the artist is just too bad to actually draw the cooler spells and always finds an excuse to interrupt them! … Maybe.
I was wondering if Mium was going to show up again (Deus ex machina for reals. ^^) This outcome was much better.

Hate them. The answer is definitely hate them! But I’ve heard practice makes perfect, so… we’ll see.
Haha I guess that’s a good point – “and than Mium rains on the parade” has been a common theme of big magic spells so far :D, three out of four even I think.
He’s sort of a professional parade rainer, and I don’t think we’ve seen the last storm on that front. Though… as they say, cancel my spell once, shame on you, cancel my spell twice, shame on me.
It’s not his ability, it’s his ubiquity–although to be fair, two of the times he was the one attacked. I was just glad to see Naomi successfully fighting the goons. ^^
I would probably handle the first one differently now, tbh, but at the time there was a pretty low limit on what I could draw, and I wanted to show early what Mium could do (since if I showed more of the rules after his abilities, it would seem like he was breaking the rules rather than that the rules weren’t complete, if that makes sense).
That said, we are more than a hundred pages now and Kally hasn’t really had an action sequence of her own, which makes me sad. Too much story to fit on all these pages imo! Speaking of effects I’m going to have a hell of a time trying to draw… 🙁
