Sorry about website down-age… it’s back up! … obviously.
If you didn’t catch it from the comments and you’re interested in it, I put a Q&A thing! It’s… really… long…
If you have any more questions, too bad! … okay, maybe I will answer them in comments or something… 😉
Anyway… new page! Keeping this short cause people are probably waiting for page and that makes me self conscious about sitting here typing things……. 😐 Stop staring at me! I’m hitting post, see, there I hi-
Pfft, Marc, Tyler’s little spell there was probably what was keeping her from punching everybody on your side. Nice job expanding the “to punch” list. 😉
Is Rovak an “ace in the hole” or more of a “the fire in the hole”? Either way it’s certainly a hole after he’s been there…. ^.^
Note that the only reason his face didn’t have a very short encounter with Naomi’s fist is because someone TELEPORTED into the path to block for him. If that doesn’t make it clear that this fight now has a MINIMUM INNATE SKILL LEVEL, then might as well toss him in the corpse pile now.
On that note, it is interesting that she teleported in front of him, considering she was threatening to shoot him just a few pages ago. Get the sense that maybe she was not as willing to kill him as she originally suggested.
Always interesting to see bad guys with loyalty.
Mium totally planned this.
this looks bad…..
but then in the back of my head I think: but it’s good from a storytelling perspective. It get’s boring if Mium would always seems all powerful and never in danger. (Mary Sue? Mium Sue?)
Im concerned as you’ve been reading this webcomic and you didnt immediately realize Mium was taunting him into doing exactly this. Rovak is insane… but very very predictable: if everything fails, blow everything up. I could see this coming, there is no question this was Mium’s plan.
could be. could be. But I’m not entirely sure. I think he was indeed going for the kill on Rovak – he’s too powerful and somewhat unpredictable. And I think right now Mium and Naomi are trying to get Tyler out alive. But we will have to wait and see.
Byzantine is right on the money. Mium would have been fine with the situation if his attempt to kill Rovak Stas had succeeded. However failure to kill Rovak does not for a moment put Mium fall outside of the predicted tree of possibilities.
You can always tell if the current events lay outside the predicted parameters, because it always scene switches to Peter, who will start looking anxious. Otherwise, you can safely assume that everything in the current scene is planned for.
Ah, I DO love Mium being Mium and Naomi being Naomi. It just feels right, somehow. ^^
