Comic for Monday, November 6th
Not gonna yank you around, this was sort of made in a hurry, art not quite up to spec. I sort of ran out of buffer again instead of building more buffer… These things happen.
Anyway, part of it was out of my control as my mouse broke, so I took a bit of a break from my computer while a new one showed up (after deducing that apparently I had no other working mouses in the house). I mean, only part of it, as if I’d had the buffer properly buffered this wouldn’t have been an issue, but you know…
Anyway, we should at least be on track, as I do have part of the next page drawn, so I expect that to be ready before the drop-dead date for early roll on Patreon by at least a day or two.
I figured a page ontime > page better polished.
Anyway…
Some may think….”They’re only sending in one guy?”
The others, though. They know. “They only need to send in one guy.”
Anyone thinking neither is likely either stupid or reaching for another handful of popcorn.
The ice road seems like a nice touch. I’d say it’s the coolest red carpet version ever, except those boots probably need some pretty extreme grip to keep from slipping…(well, moving at anything more than a casual walk, as he makes it look, anyway.)
The header underneath the page says it’s for September 6th! That threw me for a moment until I saw the small print underneath that said November 6!
Yes, the name of this page is two months old.
I my defense I was sleepy, and November and September are effectively the same thing, you know, roughly the same yearly quartile. 😐
I’m amused that the title of the post says this comic is for September…
The best/worst part is even if I fix the title, the URL will forever be immortalized as such. Meh, I think there is some way to fix that, but probably not worth the effort.
Oooh, he’s stalking toward the gate wrapped in his own, personal blizzard! Now that’s style! ^^
Given last time he lead an attack he did the same thing, its more his personal mark…
I think that it is because its easier to go from frosty to stone cold.
Instead of trying from zero.
Well he’s hardly turned the blizzard on yet… technically he’s probably containing it so it doesn’t cross the gate/border so no-one mistakenly thinks his attack has commenced before it actually has (because nothing says “we’re under attack” like: “oh look, a mage… oh look, a blizzard is hitting us”). I wonder if he has orders to ask nicely first, or is it past that already?
Expect things to get frosty.
Malsa unilaterally issued a warrant for the serizure of all IDS goods left on the premises. So I’d say we passed the point of asking nicely… 23 hours ago.
Agreed. At this point I don’t think we’re even taking prisoners. It might not be scorched earth yet, but after Atter’s stunts, blood is already in the water. And on the streets. And the sidewalks, and street lights, and, er, yeah. I’m not expecting much dialog.
The expressions on this page are excellent.
You don’t even have to read the words on the page to get the gist (especially panels 6-8), although admittedly some of that is because of reliance on well-established tropes.
“Parameter is ready”
Did you mean “perimeter”?
Ah, good catch. Fixed, thanks 😀
It is okay there is no music to this page… I imagined it while reading it. it was some ominous stuff. shit is on the rapid descent.
Ha! You imagined music… meanwhile I could hear the cold rush of wind as it rolled off one of the larger glaciers (“whooosh-ooooosh”) while reading this… mmmmm, frosty.
Panel 10: “His acting on the Consul’s orders?” Should probably be “HE’S acting on the Consul’s orders?”

Next few pages will likely be the sort of thing Rovak would regret missing out on. Unless there’s a scene change, and we only see the aftermath or someone talking about what happened after the fact.
Ah, a classic. Fixed, thanks 🙂
