Comic for Friday, January 28th

I really knocked myself out with the amount of writing this time… š
As for my attempt to draw a building… let’s just say I never did plan on being an architect š
Sorry I’ve been around a bit less the last few updates – new job and all; beyond the work hours and all that there is a lot of life-disruption including 180 on sleep schedule and the like (getting up at 5am and all that fun stuff that’s included with office working life).
There will be an update on Monday still, but I don’t know if I’ll get the voting incentive this weekend – prioritizing comic pages (a decision I reckon you can all agree with š )
It reminds me of a style I call “Late 20th Century Pretentious.” š
Believe me, most architects have very healthy egos, and the only time they “slave” is when they have to work on the mundane details. ^^
Miko seems to have encountered an invisible barrier. Does he or she have to be invited in like a vampire? ^^
At least there are no typos. (And I haven’t seen any for a while). š
That sounds like exactly the style AVon would go for… I’ll call it a win.
I think it’s more of a mental barrier than just an invisible one š Technically Miko does have an invitation…
I’m pretty proud of myself for that on this page… I got through three whole words typing them all correctly! Time to bust out the gold stars.
That mental barrier being talking to people and or being in a bustling crowd?
Definitely and, though I imagine Miko’d through a few more complaints about the situation onto the pile given the chance…
it’s ok. most building designs are unique. and the buildings you drew are among the list. try to get as much sleep as you can, and work at your own pace.
I live in an area with lot of office buildings, but can’t say that I’ve ever thought all that much about how they look till I had to draw one… Fancy with lots of glass. Everything is glass. I guess I sort of think of them as square, but they almost never are (at least around here). Gives me more appreciation for all those architects that musta slaved away over ’em.
Works been fine though, no real complaints. Besides, you know, suits. Does make one appreciate t-shirts more. Getting up early isn’t a bad thing, just a schedule change – sort of like in-place jet lag.
Appreciate the comment and the patience! š
you’re most welcome. you needed good news now and then.
