I don’t suppose you’ve ever read a comic book called Impulse? Because the older guy from page one immediately reminded me of Max Mercury, and now the look on Peter’s face in this last panel brings to mind the title character when he’s had an Idea.
The art in this comic may have its flaws, but it’s certainly expressive and emotionally engaging. I’m already curious about these people, their world, what’s going on, and what they plan to do about it. The initial conversation (“he’s enrolled in a SCHOOL”) and the previous page of jokes about whose people have the more respectable history were good for building my interest and hinting at the volume of stuff waiting under the surface.
I have to admit that I’m pretty illiterate when it comes to comic books – haven’t read almost any of them (though I’ve read many many webcomics). That said, I’m pretty familiar with fiction in general as a reader, and I’m sure there are some familiar character archetypes here and there 😉
This is my first stab at writing and drawing a comic, and I’ve definitely learned a lot so far; hopefully you’ll see the art and writing both get better over time. I think the underlying world and characters are interesting, and I’m continuing to work on making sure their story is presented as well as possible in time 😉
Thanks for commenting – and I hope you enjoy the story, and that I’ll see you in ~100 pages or so! 😀
Thanks! You are of course very correct! I really appreciate you leaving a comment to call it out so I can fix it. I updated the above page to fix the spelling error.
Thanks for reading, and I appreciate the heads up! Feel free to let me know if you catch anymore errors or issues.

Deminsional should be “dimensional.”
