Comic for Wednesday, October 15th
Dec23
You’d think if she was just bored she could have turned on the news to watch without waking him up… but that’s just not her style. So far I’m sticking pretty close to introducing a named character every page… we’ll see how long I can keep that up 😉
Page updated 12-18-2015 – see old version here.
This page was updated far more drastically than others in regards to words, but as previously noted no adjustments to plot or canon will be made in these updates.
However, on total these new pages are to make it easier for new readers to be introduced to the comic’s world, so when I see a chance to eliminate some of the more confusing early-episode-weirdness and bring in some more setting information, I’ll take here and there.
For future reference (you did ask for constructive criticism), the first word of dialog should have been “Who’s” rather than “Whose”.
Fixed, thanks! 🙂
“… bringing him in to the bureau will help restore confidence IN FROM the younger generation.” Did you mean “in the younger generation from the public” or “in the bureau from the younger generation”?
The later, though there is some merit to both. While we haven’t seen too much of Malsa’s politics, this will almost certainly come up down the line 😉
While prosperous, the current government of Malsa is magically weak, having had to distance itself from the old government (the Families) and being wary of incorporating the current generation of designer children.
Tyler is popular among the younger generation (his generation) due to his status as a powerful mage and association with the predominately designer children Levenworth Academy.
I hate to say this but the female character’s feet are backwards. If she is sitting cross-legged like it looks the big toe on each foot should be facing outward. Otherwise, nice comic thus far.
Haha ah. Thanks for pointing that out; that’s something that’s a bit beyond my current free time to fix properly but I did ‘fix’ it 😉
If people don’t read the comments they’ll just assume it’s my usual dubious art!
