Comic for Wednesday, October 14th
We’ve returned to the wordless approach. I decided to play around more with the sound effects. I’ve been sort of just leaving them really simple recently, but I think that’s probably not the best approach. We’ll see.
The last panel features the most detail I’ve tried to put on a hand. I really don’t know how we keep ending up with close up shots of hands. I need to talk to the writer about this shit 🙁 – I mean; this page has feet and hands, and I generally try to pretend neither of those exist.

The story demands the close-ups to express the drama (and comedy) of Naomi pounding on the mech. And that’s a great hand. ^^

I try to not let what I can and can’t draw get in the way of what I do draw anymore… but that doesn’t mean I won’t complain about it when it 😀
I did change some stuff around early on due to drawing limitations just because originally the comic was barely legible, but hopefully we are at least past that by now, even if we have a long way to go.
I have some plans for those early day comics, but a little too early to say anything definite. Nothing plot-wise will change though, but I do want to make a slightly better new-user-experience 😉
Glad you enjoyed the voting incentive! Will be doing a bunch of them this month probably; we have a lot of iterating to do on how to draw characters, and those a great way to practice.
