Comic for Wednesday, April 8th.

Well, not to write up a pity party but I had a pretty rough time getting this page finished. Shoulder repair is apparently not a linear improvement. Afraid it shows, as well as the delayed update time. Ultimately I’m going to keep doing the updates even if they are bit late or subpar art, so bear with me and it will stabilize eventually, and I’ll get it buffered once more.
As for the comic…
Err… Mium… where did you get that very large sniper rifle? You didn’t have that last time we saw you…
Myer is pretty chatty for a guy with a screwed up jaw. His doctor will probably hell at him.
Actually ILA pretty much asked my first question, since it seems as if Myer and Mr. Red-eyes are allies of convenience, at best, and working at cross-purposes at least, since Red-eyes’ team took out the rest of the Avon extraction team.
ILA seems to accept Myers’ authority–to a point. Does she process commands on a FIFO basis, or is it by the Company Rank of the person issuing the command?
Shoulders are tricky joints–listen to your Doctor. 🙂
She knows who Myer is from his file, and as you note, accepts his authority to a point on that basis. In operation “get Myer out of IDS Ship” she’ll listen to him. If he told him to stop doing whatever she was doing now, she’d probably ignore him. They aren’t exactly robots though… we’ll see more on why later!
For Mr. Red-eyes, he’s pretty willing to expose himself to risk as he is, as seen, rather durable. But realizing his team is danger wants to pull out. For Myer, he doesn’t really like killing people to start with, knows that subduing Mr. Red-eyes would likely take time they don’t have; additionally he knows Mr. Red-eyes may have an exit plan; professionals in that business usually do.
