Well, I was so sure I was going to make forward buffer-progress this weekend, etc etc. As usual, I did not. Still sitting at a buffer of about 0.8 😛 It’ll be up on Patreon tomorrow probably. Speaking of which, there’s the latest sketch – Red Dragon Kally? I dunno – she’s a little fuzzy on the costume part. I wasn’t sure what to do with that idea, so I just picked a direction and ran with it.
I was sort of assuming Naomi coming along would save us from all these words, but she’s failed me! Talking! Almost as much as Peter! …okay, maybe not quite that much.

“Not an evil conspiracy” and having a “chief minion” just sounds contradictory…..in an amusing sort of way.
Chief minion is a minion that leads the others at the orders of the master but is still expendable if all other minions are down.
LOL. Why exactly are minions or chief minions for that matter evil? I assume you’re trying to imply they are by indicating they are contradictory to “not an evil conspiracy”. Minions are NOT evil: only loyal. So technically minions are good, because loyalty has to rank pretty high on the necessary traits for “good”.
Minions ARE NOT expendable: that’s a Hollywood trope you’ve fallen into there. Why would an Evil Overlord expend a minion (who is loyal, and thus difficult to replace) when it would make far more sense to acquire a patsy, and let them take the fall. (Actually it’s how real world gangs and crime syndicates operate).
Loving the gimlet-eyed stare Mione gave Naomi in Panel 7. I haven’t seen one if those in years! 🙂
I still say that Peter and Naomi treat each other more like brother and sister than boss and minion…..

See? Naomi said Peter is a scheming bastard for good. Good as in helping people/saving the world, not as in “for good” = always, although I suppose both can be true at the same time.
I am guessing Peter’s goals are not limited to one world. It will be interesting to see what Naomi chooses when he leaves her world.

Plus, working with peter is like killing two birds with one stone.

Well, she could say working for Peter lets her hit things, A LOT, and for her, hitting things is always fun. Her friend knows that already.

Also, I would write it as “thingy” and “a while” (panel 3), but that’s just Naomi-ism, I suppose.

I probably shoulda taken the hint when spell check wasn’t even able to guess what word I was going for there. Instead I was like “eh, guess spellcheck doesn’t know that word… 😉
I was unaware that awhile and a while were officially different words. That’s just downright offensive, English.
I’ve left the “ee” instead of “y” as I don’t really think either of those are formal real words and thingee/cloakee sounds more like how I reckon they’d sound to me.

I didn’t even know “awhile” was a word. I thought it was like “alot.” Oh well; right by coincidence!
