What the **** is with robots dropping out of the sky suddenly? Didn’t see that coming. Oh, it is a Friday. That sort of thing does happen more often in Friday comics.
… Did Peter arrange the invasion of Levenworth just to get out of talking to Kally?
It’s not super clear on the panel because my panel layout is not great here, but the voice is coming from Peter’s pocket, presumably from his little cell phone device thing we’ve seen previously. It seems that a certain someone is capable of remotely turning on the speaker functionality. Which would be incredibly annoying sometimes, but was probably justified in this case.
I sort of wanted to put this point off further until I was happier with the art, but I don’t think that’s how it works, I gotta draw the parts I can’t draw well to get better at drawing the parts I can’t draw well 😉

You changed the direction of the shadow, to keep it from falling on the wall XD
Though, she’s also suddenly closer to the wall.
The art does get better over time… but it has a long ways to go from here.
…and I won’t promise shadows are ever something I master, I just get better having to draw them less often 😀

Sooo… . Someone, probably Special Agent Otte, has unleashed a contingent of combat-capable but non-magic-using I.D.S. military robots on a campus crawling with M.S.B. mages, (along with some others, including Kally and Naomi)? I think this sets the scene for a much bigger battle than the aforementioned “Someone” anticipates, and will likely be extremely expensive for the I.D.S., even if Tyler gives them their broken toys back. ^^

That’s a pretty sensible guess from what we know, but the IDS doesn’t quite have toys like that 😀

I will say that’s it’s not part Peter’s plans, even he didn’t see this one coming, so it’s fairly far out of left field, though it is related to the events that have recently been transpiring rather directly 😉
