Is that… the first time we’ve seen Kally laugh? Might be.
I guess that gives a pretty good guess who Miko is, though I think most people already knew that. Clever little commenters and their scheming theories. Poor Miko, already out and about in the world after vowing to not do that again. It’s a tough life.

Let’s see… Kyle is Peter’s father, Mari is his sister, Arron is his paternal uncle, and Miko/Taki is his cousin. According to Kally, Aarron is also Miko/Taki’s uncle (see Panel 5, second speech bubble).
That means there’s ANOTHER Kepler sibling out there somewhere. Possibly also involved with the IDS or having a son who is involved with the IDS. Any suggestions @Amaranth? ^^
Technically speaking, Miko could be not be a Kepler. She could be a cousin through Peter’s mother, Lily. That was actually my original guess (because can the world really handle another Kepler?).
I have since updated my guess after the conversation with Mari, mostly due to her comment about Keplers weaponizing their kids, as I am fairly certain this is a reference to something done to Taki, regarding her implant. Possibly to the extent when she protests not being Taki anymore and being Miko, this may be literal.
So my guess is a third Kepler who is more extreme than Kyle or Arron. But there is a bonus theory round!
Bonus theory one: This Kepler is not around anymore. Mari reference Kyle and “Uncle Arron” as meddling in Peter’s affairs, but does not mention another Kepler.
Bonus theory two: Miko is mixed race. Her skin is a shade darker and her hair is black, when the rest of the Kepler’s have varying shades of brown hair. Possibly due to the name, maybe half Japanese?
Mium’s at least partially based on Query….not exactly surprising.
Miko is Taki…..again, not exactly surprising…
But confirmation, ah, that’s nice.
Also, dang, Peter actually looks apologetic there. That seems new. (Though whether or not Miko cares there about Summers getting hit (by Mium at least) is a little…mixed messages, this page…)

It’s hard to be sure, by my take is that Miko is being sarcastic on the “it would really break my heart” line.
Welp, cats out of the bag there. She knows that’s query, which means everyone in Arron’s team is going to know about Mium’s secret. I have no idea if that breaks any laws, but I bet it’s going to make him a high priority target.
“and historical interactions with Peter,” rather than “historically.” You could also go for “history of interactions with Peter.”

I absolutely adore how Kally just starts doing both sides of the conversation, and then lectures Miko for Kally’s imitations of her being rude to Arron. That is brilliant and hilarious.
You can tell that these two have a lot of history, and seeing Miko and Mium interact seems to have made it click with Kally. I also note that Miko calls her Winters as well, which might be part of the dots Kally looks like she is connecting.
I mostly agree with you on the dots that Kally used to connect who Mium is. Mium’s familiarity with Taki – even just seeing the two of them in the same room – was likely a big clue. However, in my mind, what really made it click was the wording Mium used. Maybe I’m reading to much into it, but I thought it sounded a bit more Querry-like than usual. That, and Mium claimed a degree of familiarity with Kally that goes beyond remembered association.
There we go: Miko is Taki. Our theory was correct. But then, at this point, I don’t believe there was much doubt.
By now the only questions in my mind are who are Miko’s parents and what is Miko’s past?
It seems like there is a story there still, and likely tied to Peter leaving the Civil Service, so maybe a pretty important one. Also what is the nature of her connection to Mium, as they appear to be closer than Peter and Mium, despite Peter being that created/stole/freed Mium (as far as I can puzzle out anyway).
Also, maybe this is reading too much in, but Miko seems to be uncomfortable with Kally and Peter’s “little spats”.
This does tie up some theories!
… And it looks like Kally just put together a connection between Mium and Query! It’s almost suspiciously convenient that the minus years just ran.

Assume I’m an idiot for a bit… how does one find the “minus years”? I’ve seen it referenced a few times, but I just went looking for it and it doesn’t appear to be linked anywhere.
