Comic for Monday, February 1st
Ah… Miko… 😐
It’s been a running theme that no one seems to trust Peter, but Miko’s interactions with people, well… slightly less well socialized.
We’ve seen our second contractor here once before. Her hair was more interest last time we saw her 🙁
Wonder who she was expecting?
No… we probably will never see what Miko said to the receptionist when told to wait in the lobby… I’ll leave that one to your imagination. 😐
There will be a Wednesday comic (it’ll be finished tonight); I’m giving about a fifty fifty on Friday’s comic at this point. While work will stabilize a little down the road, a few semi-related things are eating up time currently (I’ll spare you the ranting but it involves phones and bureaucrats and being on hold for hours 😐 ).
“Your their kryptonite he says”
And double called it, maybe
Hmmm, Miko said “lion” and Ms. Corporate Worker Bee didn’t understand. Which means Miko is from a different dimension–most probably Peter’s. I suspected as much from the start, given their relationship, but confirmation is always nice. (Miko’s non-matched eye and hair colors also pointed that way, but are less conclusive.)
I think Miko is going to be both a disappointment and a surprise to coworker/competitor and Ms. CWB alike. 🙂
I’m going to have to add them to the cast page as Ms. CWB (Corporate Worker Bee) and Mr. REF (Red Eyed Friend) aren’t I? When we eventually get the real names it’ll be too late… 😉
Miko’s coloration certainly denotes they are possibly a foreigner, but not necessarily a dimensional foreigner (see Tyler); that said… I think you might be onto something 😛
Well, Ms. CBW’s first name is Saria, but we haven’t seen her surname yet. 🙂
I haven’t seen anything on Mr, REF.
there are 2 “here”s in the 2nd to last panel.
Gah! Fixed. Many thanks 🙂
I knew I was doomed with that many words on the page. I had hoped for a miracle, but alas twas not in the stars. Always appreciate the catch (even if I wish I did that less often 😀 )
you’re welcome. also, I wanted to say, enjoy your vacation.
