New chapter starts… They form a… plan?…
Admittedly it’s pretty late my time and I haven’t slept that much in a few days at this point, so I’m mostly just hoping that the comic is as coherent as it seems to me, though that it’s not supposed to be that coherent, since we are only hearing the end of Peter’s briefing.

I guarantee we will still be here when the newest comic arrives. If it comes down to drawing the comic or spending a weekend with the family and fireworks, family comes first. Hope there are no health issues.
EDIT: Probably midday Wednesday. If I had to be specific, I think probably about an hour or two after you check to see if it’s up yet. Page is done, text is mostly done, just need to make it all fit arranged, and that’s not going to happen tonight, so it’ll be when I get to it tomorrow.

Grammar check, bubble two:
A list of verbs should always match tense, so it’s “see a bunch of eyes”, “hear voices”, and “struggle to move your limbs”
So “you start see[ing] a bunch of eyes” would correct the percieved problem with the least expended effort?
1) remove “to” between “start” and “see”
2) add “ing” to “see”
Yeah, that’s the simplest fix that maintains the shape of the balloon text.
If this were more conventional narrative text, I’d probably say go the other way, since there’s also that ‘watching’ in there to make things bumpy, but oh well. As long as the series is internally consistent on its agreements.
I hesitate to mention this, because the last time I suggested an edit it set off a bit of a firestorm, but…
In word balloon #15, doesn’t the adjective “only” require a subject/object? “You’re the only…besides Mium…” Only what? Mage? Person? Fool? Idiot?
Also, I’m curious…what time is “your time?” I suspect this has been addressed before, and I’m sorry if it’s off-topic, but I’ve always wondered where you physically live, if it’s not too intrusive to ask.
You were correct in the edit request. Zagaroth caught also and Past has updated the text balloon to “only one.”
Past is currently residing in Malsa and commutes to Earth to post the comic. Here’s an intriguing test to make: Turn on your microphone and ask “Mium, are you there?” Mium hasn’t answered on Earth yet but his little sister Siri will talk to you! -(grin)-
“The only besides Mium” –> “The only one besides Mium” (or only person, or other variants.)

So basically the plan is: “Jump in. Run around for a bit. Jump back out. Monitor results”? Compared to most of Peter’s plans, this one is suspiciously simple.
Where’s the catch?
Well they are going in after the Kor’s world Carrier(though Weber is probably thebonly one who doesčμ . So I expect more running (peter), shouting (miko), punching(Niome), shooting (Ila), ice (Weber), and dematerializing (Mium). Elaina and Kally both generate the red constructs which.! make Kor soldiers flip their collective shit so if any are around that would give them away
You’re not doing Webber justice here.* He’s also highly skilled at stopping and reversing damage. I mean Rovak was impressed with his ability when he fought Webber. Plus, he’s clever enough to know how to navigate Peter. That alone puts him on a very short list.

Ah! I see that Peter and company have addressed the insanity issue for mages in the Palace Beyond. Was wondering about that. Apparently Mium was able to research the problem after he gave Tyler the means to exit before going insane.
Three people have “guaranteed” orientation and two of those people are partnered? What, is one of them a misanthrope who won’t work with anyone else?

Assuming you mean a connection to Mium, then they’ll all probably be wearing coms. Plus, Miko’s protection is almost certainly Mium’s highest priority.
The pairings make sense. Miko with Mium pairs her with a defender. Peter and Kally have worked together often. Naiomi and Webber complement each other range wise. Ila and Elena complement each other temperament and mobility wise.
Mium’s also briefing Elena, so one member of each team also knows the plan.
