Comic for Thursday, September 21st

…and in the last panel Kally summarizes the entire comic on one breath. Okay… not quite.
Technically, Atter is right. Mium did, in fact, steal it from a museum. It’s a long story though, it’s not quite as bad as it sounds… Of course, Mium reckoned it would work better without the driver, gunner, and a few other extraneous details. There is a reason he had it / liked it, but that’ll come up later.
Anyway, sorry it’s up late. It was actually finished on time, but I forgot and went to bed and had to get back up to hit publish 🙂
“… with it’s own arm.” Apostrophe alert!
I do love how blase most of Peter’s inner circle get after a while, though. “Oh, a big explosion? Why wasn’t I invited?”
Kally is an obvious outlier here.
Naomi is as fun as usual, Peter is as ridiculous as usual, and Kally’s got a great “You have got to be kidding me”, maybe not as usual, but they definitely seem common. (And this time, in explanatory rant form!)
Just three of the many possible ways that the comic page, is, as usual, awesome fun to read.
I am amused. Mium actually sounds mildly inconvenienced by this confrontation, at least with the silly restrictions about collateral damage and killing in place. Peter just likes giving him a challenge, doesn’t he.
poor Kally, all this scheming and plotting ●︿●
I got stab an otherworldly abomination….
Probably “I got to stab” or “I was stabbed by”.
Also maybe: operatives aren’t up fighting those off.
But maybe the second one is intentional?
Yeah, both of those need fixing. The second one should read,
“…C.I. operatives aren’t up to fighting those off.”
I think Naomi meant, “I just stabbed an otherworldly abomination…”
And I think Tom meant, “operatives aren’t up to fighting those off.”
Fixed, thanks 🙂
“Let me just shout all this top-secret information to you in full earshot of anyone who might happen to be in the area!”
[Also: “Taki *is was* walking around”?]
Fixed, thanks 🙂
Kally never was a very good spy…
I think this is actually the reason she can work as a spy in the current mess. Because she very clearly has made her loyalties known.
Also I believe this is one of those times where summoning a dragon seems like a good preemptive measure. Or maybe preventive. Or just down right ‘okay go time’-ish.
To be fair, it’s not as though much, if any, of what Kally said is going to make much sense to anyone who isn’t already in the know, or mostly in the know.
