It looks like Saria is back at her desk. From their expressions, I’d guess that she was filling Ryn in on yesterday’s events from her own experiences. Hearing her story may be why Ryn is trying so hard to avoid R&D. 🙂

Still interesting to see the fallout from this direction as Ikki and Ryan are sort of wild cards in this. Sounds like Ikki is getting spooked.

Oh I get it. IDS is dangerous, blah blah blah. However, I’ve been suspecting they’re involved with things like Kor’s World, which is all kinds of worse.

More seriously though, it’s looking like Ryn is either taking a secret test of character to deal with his flippancy. Or he is seen by Ikki as the most trustworthy person in the whole company, and is being used to take an objective look into the R&D department. If it’s the former then Ikki is trying to consolidate power, but if it’s the latter then he’s suspecting that he’s being undermined by someone on the board(or by MIR herself).
In any case I suspect that Ikki is shaken and wants more information about the situation.
Ryn your being asked to take over R&D because they need someone who isn’t a super villain as oversight. Its an important distinction, your being asked to do this because there is serious fear that the super villaining may have gotten out of hand. Read between the lines.
