It seems that Peter has to open most of his conversations on the understanding that they don’t trust him. Peter may want to reflect on why that might be… 😉

I’m figuring that it’s probably a race between Tyler and Mium as to which one gets there in time to kick SA Otte’s butt, although I wouldn’t put it past Naomi to move faster than Otte believes she can.
The interpersonal dynamics in Peter’s circle are pretty interesting. He treats Mium as an underling/tool rather than a pet, but looks out for him, too. Naomi would actually be closer to a pet than Mium, but Peter treats her more like a little sister, with overtones of “weapon”. Kally’s is the most complex. Peter keeps pushing her away, but I get the oddest vibe that he actually cares for her, and is protecting her. Tyler he has a wary sort-of-alliance with, but Peter considers himself superior. You spin an interesting tale. 🙂
If that is the same droprover as before, it has some pretty sweet weapons. Peter may want to reconsider. ^^
We haven’t actually seen as much of Mium and Peter interacting as I’d like, really, since Mium has largely been dealing with the Ila plot arc.
Really, that’s the thing the surprises me/vexes me the most about writing the webcomic so far, there isn’t as much anything as I’d like… I want to show more about the character interactions, more about the world, more characters… I want it all! I’m greedy 😀
I’m always impressed at how well you pick things out from the little bits that do make it in though! 😉 I think we will get to see both their interactions expounded on and how they morph as they go. As far as the timeline goes, it hasn’t been all that long since Peter left the IDS, we don’t know much about Mium, and even less about Miko. We don’t even know how long Peter has known Naomi beyond that Kally doesn’t recognize her! 😉
Well, I figure that I’ve read around 7,000 novels (and novelettes) in my life, and learned to seek out hints and foreshadowing, but I think you’re impressed more because you only remember the times I got things right, and forget all the other times when I didn’t. ^^
I figure you’ve got at least ten more years worth of story, so you have plenty of time to develop everyone. 🙂

Nope, just a little tinkering with stuff. To be clear, PUPDEV is also me, it’s just the name I use for programming and since it doesn’t have admin on this site I wanted to test the commenting system with it 😉

Haha… to be fair, it is a pretty cool airship… who wouldn’t want their own? I imagine you need a bigger-than-average garage though…
