Comic for Friday, May 29th
Why Peter and Naomi seem to have changed clothes. Before getting home from school. Weird. Also it marks the first time that Mium’s scarf has one tail in front, but I’m pretty sure that’s not very relevant (… it’s really not… I guess I just felt like drawing it that way…).
As a reminder we currently have a Patreon incentive! Any new patreon will trigger a bonus comic uploaded on the first otherwise comic-less day! Be a hero! Make the author work harder, win/win! 😀 …
Update!: There is a new vote incentive as indicated by the little square to the left! Click on it to see new art! Or here This was part of the new site background I was considering (some of you may have seen the test version that went up for a bit) but ultimately thought it didn’t look quite for being a site background, but didn’t want to let the art go to waste so… vote incentive!
O-ho. I think I understand why F10 was so puzzled. Mium’s no longer limited by the processor in his body — in his F8 unit — because he’s distributed some of his processing to the larger, more powerful computer in their headquarters. Which allows him to do things he shouldn’t be capable of, if all you know about is the processor in — what did F10 call it? Oh, in his chassis, that was it.
Damn the logo on the screens reminds me of Abstergo Industries. Kinda fitting.
How about an upvote for the layout? This is your most daring yet with diagonals that match the flow and a triangular inset. I think it works. 🙂
It’s the constant war between the chaotic kaleidoscopes of confusion and boring boundary boxes. 😀
I think this is okay, but I think it could be better if I was better at using breakout characters, unbounded backdrop boxes, and the rest of the tools I’ve left in the toolbox so far.
Overall I have some regrets about this page; the backgrounds were something I wasn’t quite up to; Monday’s comic will be a little different, and I hope look a good bit better in that regard.
