Poke. Poke.
That’s how you make things that are not moving move, right?
Update! Q&A Comic is up, read it (if you dare) here! … Lot and lots of words. I’m sorry. I’m not very good at answering complicated questions concisely 😀
8th time rereading or something ridiculous and suddenly I see something I missed before.
“What about the AA system?
“Its eidos simulation capacity is now eighteen times greater than mine, but is it still unable to translate Eidos.”
Beyond the grammatical error (is it), this matters quite a bit I feel. The AA system is an “it” likely another AI, possibly just a very strong autocaster. They turn it on to get the computational power they need. It might be the thing which is nullifying everything, not Mium itself.
in panel 4 “… but is it still unable …” while technically the sentence is grammatically correct I suspect it should read “… but it is still unable …” since I think Mium is informing Miko that ‘ it is ‘ unable to translate Eidos data, rather than asking her ‘ is it ‘ able to.
It’s -> Its in panel 4.
Fixed! Thanks for the head’s up 🙂
I can just imagine the programming.
Unit is responding? Y/N – N
Activate Poke.exe.
Unit is responding to Poke.exe? Y/N –
Haha, that’s gold 😀
I laughed at that for a good bit. Maybe I should do thought bubbles for Mium 😉
Some humans have that same programming, you know.
Till the next patch anyway… 😉
Humans and their silly outdated logic coding… Of course, Mium needs something to learn silly habits from.
This page has me worried… first page where I’m starting to wonder if Ila is actually ‘dead’/’broken’.
It’s clear that she is more ‘human’ than Mium… he had holes in him and his clothes have only a little ‘blood’ where she obviously lost a lot despite have seemingly less grievous injuries.
She seemed to think that he’d been modified from his specs… maybe the original specs were more like humans, and humans probably can’t survive falling like that.
Plus she’s probably not connected to an external computer now after Mium shut Mir’s down, if she ever was.
… I better be wrong though >.<
We will see… 😮
Mium is indeed modified from his specs. Ila stated her specs were superior to his original ones when they first met, though didn’t necessarily clarify in which ways.
The fall certainly damaged Ila more than it would have Mium – Ila can’t fall from that height without using magic normally without any harm (and falling seems to be no big deal for Mium), though she probably wouldn’t have been as severely damaged if she’d at least had a controlled landing.
Mium is not exactly Ila’s favorite person already, and I doubt this latest adventure is going to improve her attitude. 🙂
If she does wake up, she’s liable to bite his finger. ^^
Remarkably few people involved have asked Ila’s opinion of this process. She is probably not a fan.
I mean, she’s probably not really happy with Mir and Avon either after they didn’t let her beat* Mium this time either. After all, she just wants to the best prototype, but I doubt she has any concept of needing to be rescued, and certainly not by Mium 😛
*This didn’t seem to be going very well, but she wasn’t about to give up.
Of course. All of this would matter a lot more if she was, well, functional and all.
